In Texas can a judgment be used to seize an income tax refund?

Texas is just like every other state in the country when it comes to income taxes being seized. Although there are certain implications, the IRS has the full power to claim your full tax refund just like in every other state in America. There are three situations in which the government can seize most, or even all, of your tax refund: 1) When you owe back taxes that are long overdue and you have shown no other means to pay them off 2) When you are defaulting on your student loan debts and have shown no other means to pay them off 3) When you owe money in child support dues and have shown no other means to pay them off These are the three big instances in which the IRS can take away your refund. Please note that creditor debt is not included and will not result in the IRS taking away your refund.
